I'm spreading the word on how fulfilling and necessary creativity is to the human soul. Love & nurture your family, be true & honest with your friends and... make good stuff -- three necessary, yummy ingredients for a happy & beautiful life. Hence, the name selected for my shop meaning = beautiful life.
I've always been an old soul. Lover of vintage, old world charm, and long for days with pies that cool on window sills- long sun bleached hair- grandma's strawberry printed cardigan- nanny's hot pink and green crocheted chevron print afghan- & days filled with not enough hours to sit, hook, glue, paint, sew, & chat about crafts over a mason jar filled ice tea with blueberries. I long to inspire, make things that make people smile & feel comfort... totally a junkie for what my future holds.

I am a lover of all things old fashioned and deeply engrained organic- I bake, cook, sew, garden, crochet and mostly love to make a home. You could say that fibers, colors, and textiles are my passion. I have been known to sew, crochet, bake and cook until I drop. Literally :). I have been a teacher for 13 years but long to stay home and be a mommy who works from home doing what she loves. My husband endures a fiber filled home which ultimately has led to a recent allowance of a dining room turned studio. :) He understands this is not just some chick that likes to work with her hands, try out recipes, and crochet like nobody's business- that this addiction is part of me and not going anywhere. I am blessed to be well received and hoping to have a bright future filled with a super, colorful ride.
